The dad is a great character, he’s not the dope many shows have morphed fathers into these days. The mother is also a strong character.
Friday Night Light TV Series is based on a great book. The Book printed in the 1980s was able to inspire to be a very good movie. Therefore, I expect you can watch this movie. But I would not recommend for small children. There are some issues that adults are not suitable for small children.

This film tells about two young adults named Rosalee and Pete, who work together at a Piggly Wiggly supermarket in West Virginia.
