Tsunami in the Pacific Islands (Samoa) Kills 34 People.
Triggered tsunami as a large earthquake in the south Pacific, specifically in Samoa, has dozens of casualties. The last data recorded 34 people dead.
As quoted by AFP, Wednesday (30/9/2009) according to the U.S. Congress, Eni Faleomavaega, thousands of people also fled their homes due to this disaster.
According to the medical officer at the main hospital in Samoa, Dr. Lemalu FIU, the number of casualties from the tsunami is likely to increase, because many people living in coastal areas.
Previous earthquake measuring 8.3 Richter scale hit Samoa region. Samoa region is divided into 2 regions, which one entered the territory of the United States (U.S.) and other countries entered the Samoan Islands.
